My Space

Ha! Not like that. Those days are long behind me.

Thanks for everyone who has participated and spread the word--I hope you enjoy!

Now for the show:
Panoramic view of my part of the office, from window to window! There are birdfeeders outside each window.

Closeup of where the magic happens.

What it usually looks like when I'm writing (dangerous to the curtain) (and cats).

My new mug. It's friggin huge--just how I like them.

Thanks again for participating! Be sure to check out all the entries!
For those participating in NaNoWriMo, best of luck! I'm off to the dentist this morning, and then I'll start the words.

Awesome space, Summer! So much natural light. I have my Budda incense burner in front of my printer, but it didn't make it into the shot. (LOL) I write better when the heady perfume is hanging on the air. Love your candles, and that mug!

Happy first day of NaNo!

Great space! I'm getting ready to re-do mine and it is a mess. Which is why I did not want pictures floating around :D

I lurve your space!! I can't wait until next year so I can design a new writing space. I will def use more of my candles and twinkle lights. :D

Nice! Especially the mug. I'm working on finding the perfect mug myself. It has to be big enough to hold half a pot of coffee, ceramic, and fit in the cup holder of my car. Blue would be nice, too.

What a wonderful space Summer. View out two windows! Love the mug. And again another tidy and organized desk. I am feeling very alone with my disorganized space. Thankfully I did not enter this blogfest. I would be hanging a very red face in shame!

That's a great space. You can barely see mine under all the school papers that come home each day and pile up around it. *sigh*

The candles are sweet and that mug is sweeter! Thanks for hosting this blogfest!

Your space is very inviting and I'm jealous of all the windows! Roo would go up in a ball of flames because she would HAVE so see what was flickering in there! :P

I like the candle corner :) Nothing better than little romantic and mystic candle light to inspire the artist :)

I have screen envy. Nice display.

Not shown in my space is my coffee mug. It varies between Darth Vader and a stormtrooper, both of them huge.

Oooo I love your Martha Stewart like space and your cup for coffee. Great place to write. Yeah, I think I need my own desk with flowery chair soon. Good luck! :D

Love the mug. Must get some candles for my space, as I'm a fan.

Oh? I didn't tell you I was window shopping? Shame on me!

Seriously, awesome blogfest idea, Summer! Really feeds the snoop in all of us.

Great writing space, and a good idea for a blogfest. I'm not brave enough to post a pic of mine...it's a disastrous mess. That just means I'm so industrious I don't have time to organize, right? Right?

Oh wow!! Now that's a writing space!! It's lovely! The chair is so pretty and I love that lit corner you have as you write!! Having the birds around are fab too!!

It's really really really lovely!!!

GOOD LUCK WITH NANO!! Oh and with the *gulp* dentist!!!

Take care

Love your space! How do you manage plants, candles and cats?? I might be able to manage the candles, but the cats are a serious hazard when it comes to plants. They're the only cats I know who can eat poinsettas and live to tell about it. :-)

I seriously covet your coffee mug!

That mug would transform any writing space into a glorious writing space.

I love the shrine! Very zen of you.

Is that the mug you bought yesterday?! Dude, it's the mack daddy of mugs. :) Nice purchase.

That ledge you have there is handy. Wish I had a ledge.

I hope the dentist visit goes okay...email me when you get home.

Love,
Lola

It's so orderly! I love the Buddhist candle stuff. I would like to be a writer who dealt in those niceties... somehow though, I can't seem to make myself slow down. Things are just too manic and I fit stuff where I can, which doens't leave much room for ritual.

Your space is so intricate and fun! I'm in awe. And I love that mug! Perfect for writers :)

Hi Summer! Wow, I'm in awe of your lovely, luxe space! Compare to yours, mine looks like Siberia! :)

Really nice space. I love that you have spot between two windows.

Since I use my laptop, I don't really have one space. Usually my couch--which is embarrassingly old and full of cat hair and therefore will not be photographed--or in the office when I should be working :) And I love the mug :)

That mug is great! Your writing space is great too, love the panoramic photo.

I've just posted by blog hop entry over at my blog, now to get stuck in and see everyone else's entries!

Good luck with NaNo :)

I love your space! I'm jealous... I have a make-do space (which I posted about on my blog today, of course :))

Hope NaNo is off to an amazing start for you (and that the dentist wasn't bad either!).

Fab writing space. I put mine up a while ago. http://scribbleandedit.blogspot.com/2010/09/where-to-write.html It's much smaller and less tidy than yours LOL! :O)

Jealous! My writing space is my laptop and wherever I can sit down :( I need my own place so I can make a writing space. I love the space you've got there though (and the huge mug is kick ass too :P)
