50/50

Second day in a row I've actually made significant progress towards this challenge. All of what I wrote today was original, so it was a bit slower-going than pure revision, but I'm pretty dang happy with it.

Day: 19
Goal: 19,000
Actual: 7,183

Finished revising/rewriting the first chapter of Eternal Spring. Full steam ahead tomorrow!

Last chance to enter my contest! You have until I wake up...and that could be late, folks, who knows? :-)

Good progress. Any progress is good. You set a goal and you tried. Sometimes the attempt is more important than the outcome.

Good luck with your writing challenge!

I'm about to start a writing challenge with one of my CPs on April 1st. Here's to getting those first drafts done:)

I've tried something similar to this so many times, and I've not been able to see it through :P I'm doing a word quota for a bunch of Egyptology essays that I have due in next month, and so far that seems to be working. My fantasy writings though, I can never stick to a set amount, I swing from 5words to 500 a day (but is usually stays around the 5 words area :P)

Good luck though, you'll probably get a second wind at around day 40 and just write like crazy. Coffee is our best friend for this :)

Way to go with your writing challenge! Sounds kinda like NaNoWriMo, but I couldn't do another one of those right now. Sigh, I need more time!!
